People have used soda crystals for cleaning purposes for literally centuries. Whereas modern detergents and cleaners contain phosphates, bleach and enzymes, soda crystals are a much more natural cleaner. Consequently, they can produce better results.
Try to mix a strong solution, and use this regularly in order to flush your drains and keep them grease free. Soda crystals are brilliant for dissolving grease, which makes them an excellent product for unblocking drains and pipes.
You can use soda crystals to make your bins smell fresher than a florist! Use a regular solution to clean out your rubbish bins. Alternatively, you can also use liquid soda crystals to keep your bins clean and odourless.
A regular solution of soda crystals is superb for cleaning cane and wicker furniture. Cane and wicker furniture will come almost magically clean after being washed with soda crystals. In addition, it will help to harden the cane and to tighten sagging seats.
Do not under any circumstances use soap to clean stone floors. This will result only in the stone surface becoming incredibly slippery, as stone cannot absorb soap. You should instead clean your stone floor with a solution made up of two tablespoons of washing soda powder per one litre of water.
For a mild solution: mix one tablespoon with 500ml of water.
For a regular solution: mix half a cup with 500ml of water.
For a strong solution: mix one cup with 500ml of water.
