Topworkmen.com is a new Internet service that provides the answer to these questions and more (www.topworkmen.com). Given the opportunity, most people would prefer to hire a recommended tradesman rather than randomly selecting one from the standard directories or local press.
Many of us have suffered at the hands of unscrupulous workmen, been ripped off or encountered shoddy workmanship. Topworkmen.com is here to ensure that we no longer need to endure the work of cowboys. The idea is to help people to find reputable and reliable tradesmen that have been recommended by previous satisfied customers.
The Topworkmen.com ethos is all about people helping people, and applies to both customers and tradesmen alike:
A fast and easy to use search facility allows you to select a geographical area and the trade skills you require. A list of recommended tradesmen will appear, allowing you to view contact details, company profile and FEEDBACK. The feedback facility uniquely allows you to read comments and recommendations submitted by previous satisfied customers. All feedback reports are monitored before being displayed. Negative feedback reports are not listed. However, any negative feedback received is taken seriously and investigated. Topworkmen.com is looking to promote only reputable tradesmen and companies.
Topworkmen.com limit the number of tradesmen in each trade category, for each geographic area, therefore reducing competition between contractors. This means that the service is more user friendly for the general public. It also offers a huge advantage to Topworkmen.com recommended tradesmen, as it means that they are not simply one contractor amongst hundreds of competing companies listed in various directories. However, for tradesmen this does mean that suitable applications are dealt with on a first come, first served basis, until the quota for each trade category is filled.
Places are still available for companies and tradesmen wishing to join Topworkmen.com. Interested parties should contact the new contractor enquiry line on 0403 753371.
Topworkmen.com is free to all users.
